design finds | beautiful Scandi furniture that looks so much more expensive than it is

I often share new decor and design finds that catch my eye and this is one new collection you need to know about because it seriously delivers exceptional value and great design.

H&M has long been one of my go-to’s for stylish Scandinavian design at affordable prices. But this new collection shocked me with their prices — it’s so budget-friendly even by H&M’s standards. And there is no compromise on design and finish. Just look at the pieces and you’ll see they look so much more expensive than they are.

All the pieces are in a dark, rich wood and they have a simple Scandi aesthetic with Japanese influences. That said, most of the pieces come in a pale beige colour as well but for me it was the richness of this dark wood that makes them extra special.

First up is my favourite piece — the curved console table that costs just £139.99. While this table would be great for an entryway, it’s versatile enough to go anywhere in a home. I could see it placed against a wall in a bedroom, living room or dining room too. The shelf is handy for a some extra storage and the dark wood finish will add warmth to wherever you place it.

These floor shelves are another standout piece for me and cost £229.99 each. The shelves combine straight lines with soft curves at the base (not visible in pic above but see below), making them a beautiful and timeless piece of furniture. Just one shelf will look great but if you have the space, line up two or three for a statement wall with lots of storage too.

Next is this simple and striking desk with an organic curved shape much like the console table. This desk, costing £199.99,  has two tiers meaning you can hide away things like a laptop when it’s not in use. This desk isn’t very large so it would be perfect for a small home office or to create an work space in any unused corner of a room.

This rich, brown wooden storage table would be handy as a console table or as a TV unit. Costing £249.99, it has two shelves so there’s plenty of storage space too. The curved ends and slatted details make this a stylish piece that is as practical as it is aesthetically pleasing.

Lastly is this small wall shelf that costs just £34.99 and features a curvy design like some of the others on this list. It’s perfect as a  bedside shelf for a small bedroom but can also be used anywhere else in the home. Hang up two or three of these to create a feature wall in an entryway or a dining space.
