Who else is a magazine addict? I’m not only addicted to Scandinavian interior mags but also coffee table books with stunning pictures of Scandi inspired homes.
With all those magazines and coffee table books piling up, we need somewhere to store them. Rather than just pile them up somewhere, I prefer to create a feature because they are too beautiful to be hidden away. So with that in mind, I’m sharing some minimal DIY magazine holders.
All of these DIY magazine holders will look great in your home and they are so practical too. There are a range of them to choose from including hanging ones for when space is limited like in a small home office space.

This DIY rattan magazine holder has everything going about it. It’s simple, it looks great and it’s of course so handy too because it can hold a fair few magazines or books. If you need more space, you can always make a second one or make this one in a bigger size. If you love rattan then this is the DIY magazine rack for you.
This minimalist magazine holder couldn’t be easier to make. What I love about this one is that you can make as many as you need and create a feature wall out of your coffee table books or magazines. This DIY magazine holder will look great as it is or you could even hang these on wall hooks.
If you prefer to have your magazines stored on the floor then this x-shaped magazine rack could be the one for you. I’m loving the x shaped design which is both simple and stylish. I love the raw natural wood look but I think it would look just as good painted in black or white or stained in a darker wood tone.
The combination of wood and leather is always a good idea. This hanging magazine holder is ideal for small spaces – I would be tempted to make one for the bathroom even. Once again you can make more if you need more and you can also switch up the leather colour – tan leather would look great with the wood too.
I am loving the clean lines and the modern look of this magazine shelf. It’s pretty straightforward to make and is ideal for displaying magazines, coffee table books and even art or a mix of all these things. You can also customise this DIY magazine shelf and make it longer so you have more storage space.
For something a little different, try making this DIY hanging ladder. The rungs are perfect for holding magazines. I love that you can mix it up and create a display with art, magazines, books and more. I think this DIY ladder would be perfect for a home office especially if you’re short on space.
Super simple, super minimal and super stylish! This leather strap magazine holder is ideal for above a desk or even above a sofa. It will make a lovely feature while giving you a place to keep your magazines. Try making a few and hanging them at different heights.
